John Cooper, B.A., J.D.

After working in the District Attorney’s office and a prominent Los Angeles law firm, John decided to change course and pursue an active real estate career. He obtained his broker’s license in 1978, and for a few years participated in condominium conversion developments.

Mr. Cooper, who speaks Spanish, then applied his background to representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of primarily their first homes.  He specializes in first time homebuyers, and has never failed to secure 100% financing for Buyers with modest incomes and soft credit. He has also never needed more than four weeks to enter a successful escrow on his listing efforts.

It is this area that he remains dedicated to this day. It is his prime goal to insure total dedication to his clients, and promises to “always answer ‘live’ when a client calls.” He feels that over and beyond the education and experience he brings, one of the most important aspects in representing his clients is 100% accessibility. To assure this, he tries to manage his calendar so he retains no more than two or three clients/families at a time.

Mr. Cooper takes so seriously making every effort to answer “live,” that he invites you to telephone him any time--even right now! He will answer.

Below is a little additional information on John and his educational background:

He graduated with honors from U.S.C., and secured his Doctorate in Laws from Loyola University. Among his awards was the American College of Trial Advocates Award for Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice of the Law.  He also won, out of 271 competing law students, the Scott Moot Court Competition, and placed 3rd in both the State and Regional National Moot Court Competitions.

He is a member of the U.S.C. and Loyola Alumni Associations, and lives in West Hills.
